Your child can attend a regular school schedule before coming to our center every afternoon after school. The length of treatment depends on your child’s unique needs and treatment plan.

Kids can stay at OCTC as long as they need to. The typical length of stay is 6-12 months.

We love furry friends as much as you do, but it’s important for teens to focus on their happiness without distractions, so personal pets are not allowed at OC Teen Center.

You are welcome to bring snacks of your choosing. You can also bring a sweater or a jacket. We do not have lockers so please do not bring anything you would be worried about leaving out. No cell phones or other non-school related devices are allowed. If you bring any devices with you, we will ask that you check it in upon arrival and can retrieve it when you leave for the day

The length of treatment depends on your child’s unique needs and treatment plan. Our Program runs Monday to Thursday, 3:30 to 6:30 pm

OC Teen Center is a highly specialized therapy center, here to help your teen with any mental health issues or struggles they may have. We treat a range of mental health disorders, such as anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, LGBT related issues, disruptive disorder, and other behavioral disorders.

We do not treat substance abuse disorders.

Residential centers usually provide their own therapeutic services. If they do not provide their own psychiatric services, you can come to our program. Once you complete the residential program and if you are interested in a step down program, you can come to us.

We work with most PPO insurance plans. There’s nothing to pay up front. You will be charged your normal deductible and co-insurance payments, which would be the same as any other health care service. We will bill you once your insurance begins processing claims, which typically takes 1-3 months.

We also have a cash payment option for those who prefer not to use insurance or don’t have insurance.

Please call for more info. Our admissions department can answer questions on what is covered by PPO health insurance. We can also check how much your deductible is if you don’t already know.

We do not accept HMO. We do not accept Medi-Cal.
