Half-Day Program
Our After School Program has been developed for teens who are finished with the Day Program or are looking to start treatment at a lower level of care.
The OC Teen Center IOP supports teens who live at home and still attend school but need support for mental health, and behavioral health. The After School Program at OC Teen Center is an effective means of treatment for teens who need more structure than our outpatient program but don’t need the same high level of care as our Day Program.
What Happens During the After School Program?
As with our Day Program, your child will get private therapy, psychiatrist supervision, and group therapy. The goal of our After School Program is to give your teen the autonomy to continue their everyday life and develop a new normal while having the support of individual and group therapy.
How Long Does the After School Program Last
Monday to Thursday, 3:30 to 6:30 pm
During the After School Program phase of healing, your child can attend a regular school schedule before coming to our center every afternoon after school. The length of treatment depends on your child’s unique needs and treatment plan.
